Tools required:
13mm socket wrench
Medium flat blade screwdriver

Procedure:
Remove key from ignition. Open hood. Disconnection
of battery is not required

Removing the ECU for your first time is easier done
with the black plastic “cowling” running along the
lower edge of the windshield removed. Future ECU
removals, once you have oriented yourself with the
way the ECU sits in the car, can be done with this
cowling in place and an extra set of hands or an item
to prop it up enough to gain access.
